Services We Love: Eyelash Tinting

Since opening our day spa location, all of the ladies at Sunquest have become Lash Addicted! One of the biggest trends of 2009 has been plush, fabulous lashes that make eyes pop!

Unfortunately we are not all born with these plush, fabulous lashes, and for some of us it's all about fake it till you make it. If you don't have the intention of investing in our fabulous eyelash extensions, then you might want to consider lash tinting.

So what exactly does this service entail? With a little help from Google & our eyelash technician, Lacey- we have all the answers you need. Read on...

Q: What is eyelash tinting?
A: It is a service designed to define sparse or light-colored eyelashes by darkening hair folicle that may be unseen, resulting in a fuller and thicker appearance.

Q: What is the process of eyelash tinting?
A: Dye is carefully applied to lashes using a disposable mascara wand, and left on for 15 to 20 minutes. The result is darker, more obvious lashes that draw more attention to the eye area- totally flirt-worthy lashes.

Q: How much does it cost?

A: You can expect to pay $25 for lash tinting, and $20 for brow tinting (also available for our light-browed clients)

Q: How do I maintain my results?

A: You can expect your lash tint to last up to four weeks, so you want to maintain your new lash color at least once a month.

Words of Caution:
-People with sensitive skin should not tint either their lashes or brows. Doing so could result in an allergic reaction.
-Clients with damaged lashes should avoid tinting until lashes are in good condition. For those struggling with their lashes, we recommend Revitalash Eyelash Conditioner to help regrow lashes over the course of 10 weeks.
-Contact wearers will need to remove their contacts before the tinting begins.

Once you see your luxurious lashes you too, are sure to become Lash Addicted!
