Stefani Altieri purchased Sunquest Tanning in January 2000. She has been a hands-on owner ever since. In the last nine years, she has maintained, managed, and worked in her business while keeping abreast of the trends. So when the trends began to point towards tanning salon/day spa's opening up in the area, Stefani saw an opportunity which she could not resist.
Having been an avid spa-goer for a long time, Stefani began intergrating spa services into the tanning salon. First airbrush tanning, massage, facials, and waxing, and soon expanding into teeth whitening, and a full line of skin care and makeup from Being True Cosmetics.
In the fall of 2008, another opportunity knocked at Sunquest's door, this time from Karen Filos of Bella Rose Salon. Stefani once again, decided that she could not turn down this opportunity and joined forces with Karen to share space in the beautiful West Main Street location (now know as our spa location). Her taste in decor is obviously classic, somewhat gothic, and absolutely meticulous- something which cannot be ignored when you arrive to either of her business locations! Stefani has since added even more services and amenities including ION detox cleanses, a full pedicure room, body treatments, microdermabrasion, and much much more. Plans for the future include fitness, pole dancing, yoga, and pilates classes!
Stefani is a Freehold, NJ native and the proud mother of her little boy Jake, who turns 6 this fall. She is also a full-time Esthetics student at Concorde, pursuing her full skin care liscense. She plans on performing all of the services which she offers, excluding massage therapy, so that she can be the most hands-on she's ever been in her business.
